Louisiana is surely taking a healthier turn when the Mayor of Baton Rouge gets involved!  We are excited to partner with "Healthy Baton Rouge" a project of the mayor's healthy initiative program!  Vegan Village will be at their fall "Family Fit Day" to showcase Baton Rouge's finest vegan options!  While families workout together and work up an appetite at the many fitness demos, we'll be ready to refuel and feed ya!  It's happening on Sept. 15, so save the date!  To learn more about "Healthy Baton Rouge" visit their website!

The annual MLK Festival of Service is a four-day service event where the Walls Project will facilitate the painting of blighted buildings & murals, planting community gardens & trees, picking up garbage, painting house addresses on curbs for first responders, repairing fences, and hauling trash away from properties in partnership with a vast network of local community organizations.

Vegan Village is proud to join again this year, bringing our favorite vegan food vendors to this amazing event of over 3,000 participants!

The gracious folks at the Tibetan House  opened their beautiful outdoor space to us to have a fabulous, open-air Vegan Village Market!

Please be sure to check out their beautiful shop and meditation room, which supports Tibetan refugees!
